Developments by our team include Force sensing resistors and printed heaters. Force sensing resistors are an evolution of membrane switches and use a similar design principle. Force sensing resistors are highly sensitive to resistance when applied pressure. More the pressure applied to the surface of the sensor, lower is the resistance. They are widely used in industrial applications, including automotive sensors, computer input devices, interactive toys, medical dispensing, musical instruments and sports equipment to name a few.

PrInted Flexible Heater

Linepro has also developed Flexible Printed Heater also known as printed force sensor.
Heating elements are light in weight, thin and produce heat rapidly in uniform fashion with no hotspot and require less power to operate. There are no wires involved, and also the heater can self-regulate which essentially reduces fear associated with overheating and other safety concerns.
