Why a Rigid PCB Backer
Where an OEM wants the rigid backer a plain membrane keyboard lacks, rigid PCB switches step in: the PCB doubles as structure and can carry active and passive components, cutting materials and interconnections in one move.
The result stays quiet in use, resists water and dust, cleans easily, and takes inbuilt LEDs, embossing, backlighting and extra oxidation protection as standard options.
